Software features designed to meet the
unique requirements of government.

SoniClear Gov is an advanced digital recording solution that meets the needs of today's fast-paced government. Digitally record, manage, and store important meetings, using Windows laptop and desktop computers. Easy to install, learn, and use, SoniClear Gov can scale from individual use to entire organizations using existing computers.

Record
SoniClear Gov digitally records to the computer disk drive using industry-standard audio files. VoiceBoost digital signal processing enhances the audio to ensure maximum clarity and intelligibility. While recording, the user has the ability to enter timestamped notes, highlighting sections of the meeting and important events. The resulting digital audio files can be stored on the local disk drive, CDROM, and network servers.

Transcribe
Notes entered during the meeting can be exported for use as action minutes. Notes also make it easy to locate sections requiring detailed transcription. With the optional hardware USB Foot Pedal, the software works like a standard transcription machine for hands-free control. Holding the pedal down plays the recording, and when the pedal is up, it stops and rewinds a few seconds automatically. The built-in Virtual Foot Pedal keystrokes simulate the foot pedal action without the need for an actual foot pedal.

CD Storage
Quickly produce standard audio compact disks for playback in any CD player, as well as two types of data CD formats. The software can also generate tape files from the original digital recording for duplicating directly from the computer.

LAN Archive
Recordings can be saved to a digital archive for access from the local area network. This makes it easy for staff to listen to sections of a meeting directly from a computer, without having to request tapes or disks, and without having to install special software.

Web Archive
The recordings can also be webcast to the public from any existing website. No additional hosting software or services are needed. Also, any Windows, Macintosh or Unix computer can be used to listen to the recordings. The ubiquitous Adobe Flash MX browser plugin handles playback of the recordings on the computer (98% of computers already have Flash MX installed).
