Software Licensing
Court Recorder 8 is shipped as a boxed product, and is priced on a per-license basis. For organizations with multiple users needing to run the program at the same time, multiple licenses will be required.
Court Recorder 8 is shipped with the Floating License System. This allows the program to be installed on multiple computers, with a single user at a time running the software. Authorization to use the program is controlled by a USB Key device. The license can also be locked to a specific machine, so that the USB Key device does not need to be used. For more information, consult the Floating License System Page.
Court Recorder 8 also includes free Transcription software and Player software for playing recordings created using Gov Recorder 8 on CD, over a LAN.
Microphone Included
The boxed product versions of Court Recorder 8 software includes a general purpose computer microphone. It is suitable for recording an individual and groups in small, quiet conference rooms.
Microphone Upgrades
More advanced microphones are available for use with Court Recorder 8. Most court reporting applications will require a microphone upgrade. See the Products page for microphone products and complete systems available from SoniClear, or call SoniClear for recommendations.
Optional SoniClear USB Foot Pedal
SoniClear Court Recorder 8 software and SoniClear Transcriber software supports an optional hardware USB Foot Pedal for hands-free control of playback during transcription. This is available as a separate product item that can be ordered from SoniClear and SoniClear Dealers. Purchase when the software is purchased, or at a later time. Please note that SoniClear is designed to work exclusively with the SoniClear USB Foot Pedal. It will not work with foot pedals designed for other products. Price: $150.
