Software
SoniClear Court Recorder works with any laptop or desktop computer running Windows Vista or XP. The software is licensed on a per-user basis. For installations with multiple users recording at the same time, a copy of the software needs to be purchased for each user. For more information, consult the Floating License Information Page.

Court Recorder includes a free transcriber program, Transcriber Live, that can be installed on any number of computers for use by typists working with Court Recorder files. There is no charge for the use of Transcriber Live.

Hardware Options
A basic conference microphone that plugs into the computer is included with the Court Recorder software. To enable all of the features of the software, additional hardware is required. Contact SoniClear Support for assistance with microphone selection and hardware configuration options.

Dual Channel Interface and Microphones
The recommended 2-channel hardware configuration consists of a laptop computer, MobilePre audio interface, and one or two Audio Technica conference microphones.

The Audio Technica U841A is an Omni directional microphone, picking up from all directions. It is suitable for recording in depositions where participants sit in a conference room around a single table. The U841A has special circuitry to eliminate cellphone noise from the recording, for more accurate transcriptions.

The Audio Technica Pro44 is a directional microphone. It is suitable for recording courtrooms and meetings where background room noise needs to be reduced.

Multichannel Recording
Multichannel recording is supported using multiple audio interface devices and multichannel audio interfaces that are certified for use with Court Recorder 7. Complete recording systems, including computer and multichannel audio interface, are also available. See the Recording Solutions Page.

USB Foot Pedal
The USB Foot Pedal works with the free Court Recorder transcriber program, Transcriber Live. When attached to the computer, the foot pedal acts just like a transcription machine, providing hands-free control during transcription of Court Recorder files.

Order by Fax using Credit Card
To order by fax, download the Order Form, and fax it to SoniClear. MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards accepted.

Order by Purchase Order
Purchase orders are accepted from official government organizations within the United States. Reference part numbers and pricing from the SoniClear Order Form and fax the PO to SoniClear.

Order by Check
To order by check, download the SoniClear Order Form and return it with payment to SoniClear by mail. Make checks payable to SoniClear. If a pro forma invoice is required before a check can be issued, contact SoniClear to request an invoice be emailed or faxed to you. Checks are subject to verification of funds.

Shipping Options
Products are sent via UPS. Order processing is usually within 2 business days from when the order is received. Price includes UPS Ground shipping in the continental USA, with delivery in 2-7 business days. Alternative methods of shipping are available on request for an additional shipping and handling fee.

Sales Tax
All taxes and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. California Sales Tax is collected for shipments within California. SoniClear does not collect sales tax for other states or foreign governments.

Technical Support
Purchase price includes Basic Annual Support for technical support, and software updates for one year from the date of purchase. Basic Annual Support is available after the first year for an additional charge. Introductory Training is available for an additional charge.
