Software Recovery Procedures

SoniClear products are protected by copy protection technology. To recover software after a system crash or other types of system-related problems, you will need to follow the procedure that is appropriate for the product you purchased.

Element 5 Ecommerce Purchases

If you purchased SoniClear RecorderPro or SalesVoice products online through the Element 5 ecommerce service provider, the software was "wrapped" with a program to manage electronic distribution and payment. Element 5 no longer provides this service and has discontinued support for those purchases. Contact SoniClear for upgrade options.

Software Purchased on CD

If you purchased the SoniClear software with physical delivery on CD, the software can be reinstalled from the original CD. You cannot reinstall from a copy of just the installation program itself, as the installer is "locked" to the installation CD, which is required to complete the process.

Software Protected by USB Key

If you are using a version of the software that is authorized using a USB Key device, you will need to reinstall using the original CD. In the event of a lost USB key, or if the license was lost on the damaged computer, contact SoniClear Support for assistance.
